MEET THE FOUNDERS
Two friends, like family
On a joint mission
To make love feel stronger, brighter and even easier than it already is
Meet Amisha
Hi! My name is Amisha. I am one of the co-founders of Fruits of Cupid along with my enigmatic and entrepreneurial partner Simi.
I have spent most of my years in Hong Kong, except when I studied Law at Kings College London. I split my time between working in the Education field, studying a Masters in Psychology at the University of Hong Kong, and travelling the world with my best friends (attending weddings, of course). But most importantly, I am a “planner,” the girl who wants to celebrate absolutely everything, and now I’d love to celebrate you!
9-5 corporate jobs just don’t cut it for me - I want my days to be filled with excitement, creativity, and connection, and that’s what FoC is for me. Here at FoC, we want to fill your hearts with the same joy that we get from believing in and celebrating love. From proposals to bachelor parties to your big day, we want to be on this journey with you, providing everything you need to ensure you feel calm in the chaos.
FoC is our dream come true, and we can’t wait for it to make all of yours come true!
Meet Simi
Hi! My name is Simi (Simran Mohinani-Panjabi). I am one of the co-founders of Fruits of Cupid along with my beautiful and brilliant partner Amisha. I am also the founder of MOHLIA, a luxury gifting company, a four-time published author, a Forbes 30U30 delegate alum, ex-United Nations Youth Program and the founder of my philanthropic fund The SiMission.
I was born and raised in Hong Kong but I split my time between here and my multitude of travels which often includes London, a second home to me. I studied Entrepreneurship in Boston at Northeastern University, and also worked abroad in London and Sicily during my time there.
Already being in the space of love with the flowers and gifts I create and deliver on a daily basis, I felt a craving, a pull to be more involved in the space. So we find ourselves here today, promising our best to provide you with every service, from finding love to solidifying it and celebrating it. Our motto at FOC is to have fun, work hard and take the stress out of looking for a partner, planning a proposal, executing bach itineraries, finding wedding services and even planning your honeymoon. We promise to work efficiently, collaboratively and to constantly be available for you.

Tap a card to flip it over — Amisha & Simi answer the questions our couples always ask us first.
What's your favourite colour?
Tap to revealThis is always so hard for me! My daily wardrobe is black and grey, but my wedding wardrobe has every colour under the sun. My nails are always white, until the day I feel like going red. I'll let you know when I find the answer to this one!
— AmishaWhat's your favourite food?
Tap to revealI'm a Hong Kong local — I can do Chinese dimsum any day of the week, but pasta has a special place in my heart.
— AmishaWhat's your favourite movie?
Tap to revealBollywood is the only favourite movie I have. I love old school Bollywood — they really don't make movies like K3G anymore. But I am equally obsessed with the entire Fast & Furious franchise. Thoughts on a drive down the aisle?
— AmishaFavourite Indian designer?
Tap to revealRecently, I've been obsessed with Falguni Shane. Her cuts, colours, and fabrics are unique yet classic — just what I look for in my outfits.
— AmishaFavourite shaadi function?
Tap to revealNothing beats the sangeet, except the after-party, because let's be real — that's when the real dance moves surface.
— AmishaWhat drives you?
Tap to revealI like being at the forefront of anything innovative, creative and cutting-edge.
— AmishaWhat's your favourite colour?
Tap to revealI love YELLOW! As bright as the sun. It just makes me so happy.
— SimiWhat's your favourite food?
Tap to revealMy all time favourite food really depends on the day — sometimes it's a craving for a slice (or 4!) of Tops Pizza, other days all I can think about is my Dadima's Sunday dhal and rice spread…
— SimiWhat's your favourite movie?
Tap to revealI'm always between two depending on my mood — and they are both on different ends of the genre spectrum. 'Love Actually' and 'Scream'.
— SimiFavourite Bollywood film?
Tap to reveal'Yeh Jawaani Hai Dewani' is my husband and I's shared favourite, 'Dostana' is my sister and I's shared favourite — both bring laughter and tears, which is what every good Bollywood film should do, no?
— SimiFavourite Indian designer?
Tap to revealIt feels criminal to pick just the one, but right now I really love Gazal Gupta — that's where my wedding lehenga was from. I feel like they are one to watch.
— SimiFavourite shaadi function?
Tap to revealI am a Pheras-stay-til-the-end watch and crier — every couple, every time.
